file in the executable ?

can include any kind of file into a Windows resoure, that would be a solution to
include the file with your app when you build the application. The process is
exceedingly simple:
Create a file exeres.rc:
DATAFILE RCDATA
"testfile.exe"
Compile this with brcc32 to exeres.res. Include it into
your project with an
{$R exeres.res}
You can now attach a
TResourceStream instance to the resource and save it to disk using the streams
SaveToFile method.
